Team Building Exercise
American Whitewater Expeditions and The Wilderness Institute join together to coach your group through a customized team building program to achieve your team goals and desired outcomes (as identified through a Needs Assessment process). Each team building activity is especially designed to address business team goals and sequenced to build upon team success. Outcomes are then transferred back to the workplace through thoughtful processing discussions and debriefing sessions led by our professional facilitators. These corporate team building exercises offer fun and challenging outdoor adventures far from the distractions of an everyday business setting and make your team building event an unforgettable experience!
Through a series of adventurous outdoor activities such as a Challenge Ropes Course, Rock Climbing, Orienteering, Eco-Challenges, and other Multi-Sport Outdoor Adventures that compliment your Whitewater Rafting experience, your group will have fun together while learning how to achieve your personal best, enhance interpersonal relationships, and hone important communication skills, all in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Challenge Ropes Course
Climb to the top and go for personal and team goals on the Dream Catcher leap and other high and low ropes course activities that push your limits and promote positive support while building a High Performance team!  Instructors and fellow teammates provide support for each climber to go beyond their perceived limits. The team learns to overcome limitations, empower each other in achieving goals, and trust each other to work together with open communication resulting in high performance team work. "Learning the Ropes" is an effective land-based compliment to your team paddling experience on the river and enhances positive relationships among coworkers.
Rock Climbing Adventure
Our mobile rock climbing tower will allow you and your team to go beyond "business as usual" in meeting your team goals. This challenging activity can be utilized to promote partnership and collaborative leadership as climbers work together to overcome perceived limitations while being empowered to achieve extraordinary results in your personal and professional life.

Just wanted to let you know what a fabulous weekend we enjoyed with American
Whitewater Expeditions. The campsite was tranquil and it was just a short, yet
invigorating walk to the beautiful American River. Angelo provided us with an awesome
