Our deluxe base camp sits on a
rise along the river just above Troublemaker Rapid on the South Fork of the
American River. To make your stay with us as comfortable as possible there are
FREE hot showers and complete indoor restroom facilities, a swimming pool, a
fishing pond stocked with bass and trout, two regulation horseshoe pits, a
regulation volleyball court, flat grass-covered campsites with picnic tables,
and RV spaces with or without hookups. (Hookups only available through
American River Resort).

Jon,
I called earlier
today to let you know what a success our trip was. My family and I had a
GREAT time this past Saturday, as did the rest of the Nortel Networks'
group. My group had Robbie as our raft guide and all of us could tell right
away that he was quite competent, plus he knew nearly all of the other raft
guides on the whole river - great personality! He's a real asset to your
company. Our other two raft guides were John and Eddie - they too were awesome.
Also, the office staff that answers phones displayed much patience and were
very thorough in their answers. You're fortunate to have such great employees!
My only regret is that I
didn't try rafting 30 years ago!! I'm planning my second trip for sometime in
the next two weeks.
